At Girard Builders the management of construction activities is
paramount to our success, both in the office and on the job site, and
accomplished our highly qualified personnel, which is the key to our
successful completion of our construction projects.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Coordinate
all activities between owners, architect, subcontractors, and material
suppliers. Work with the project superintendent to integrate all
subcontractor work as required per the plans and specifications.
Establish
a cost control system which includes labor, material and subcontractor
costs. Monitor job costs to insure that actual costs are not deviating
from budgeted amounts. Review all requests for change orders. Monitor
change orders and evaluate their impact on the overall project estimate.
INSPECTION
Insure that all materials and work conform with or exceed contract requirements.
SCHEDULE ANALYSIS
Organize project phasing if required. Advise owner and architect of current scheduling status. Maintain an updated schedule with input from all parties. Advise owner and architect of any delays from procurement of long lead items or other related problems.
LABOR AND MATERIALS
Take corrective action if necessary to maintain established job schedule. Determine adequacy of subcontractors’ personnel and insure that they are completing their work as scheduled.
